WHO WE ARE
A great tour starts with great tour leaders. Chances are if you’ve been on any kind of guided tour or trip, the experience you had with the tour leaders is what made you want to either book another trip with the same company or never again. It takes more than just knowledge of motorcycles and the area to ensure a great experience on your tour. Besides motorcycle experts, mechanics, first responders, and good story tellers….each of our team has one thing in common, they have a passion for sharing their passion. They are on our team because they truly want to see you have the best possible time on your tour.
Kurt
Kurt has a passion for leading groups of motorcyclists on rides across the Pacific Region both on and off-road, including Baja, Northern and Southern California, up and down Pacific Coast and through Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Kurt recently rode South America from Columbia to Ushuaia, including Ruta 40 and the Carratera Austral. He isn’t a mechanic but is capable of completing nearly all his own maintenance – check out his YouTube videos. Kurt is a motorcycle safety instructor and an MSF-certified ADV RiderCoach. He is also certified in CPR and Wilderness First Aid.
Claudia
Although Claudia is not a motorcyclist yet, she has ridden pillion with Kurt on many adventures. Claudia has travelled extensively throughout her life-growing up in Peru, studying graduate school in The Netherlands and living in the US on the East Coast, the Midwest and the West Coast. She is fluent is English and in Spanish and can get by in German and Italian. She is a great storyteller and an avid listener. Claudia complements her professional activities with cooking, cycling and running. Claudia is CPR and first aid certified.
ANDREW
Andrew is a retired headhunter, spent 6 years in the United States Coast Guard and was previously a certified Emergency Medical Technician. He started riding at age 15 and has owned and rode Hondas, Harleys, Kawis, Beemers and more. Andrew splits his two-wheeled time between gas and human powered bikes, and enjoys organizing and leading small local rides as well as gravel and mountain bike racing. His bicycles share garage space with a BMW R1250GS Rallye and a Husqvarna 701 Enduro. Andrew always brings a positive vibe, a let’s go ride attitude, and a story to share at every stop!
TODD
A true son of the Pacific Northwest, Todd grew up spending his days surfing the cold waters off the Oregon coast, exploring the endless logging roads on a dirt bike, wildland firefighting, and commercial fishing until joining the US Air Force. His service took him to exotic places like Salt Lake City, Denver, Guam, Philippines, and South Korea. After his service he returned home to Oregon and has been exploring the backcountry by LandCruiser or MotorCycle for let’s just say several decades. You can currently find him teaching Motorcycle Safety classes for Team Oregon, MSF ADV courses, and guiding MotorCycle Training tours around his home turf of Central Oregon.
